What to Expect When You Book

A Kinesiology Session with ME

THE LONG STORY

  • Your introductory kinesiology session is designed to give you a clear and comprehensive understanding of your health, energy, and mindset.

If you’re new to kinesiology, welcome. We’ll take things at a comfortable pace, and I’ll explain everything step by step so you feel informed and at ease.

If you’re familiar with kinesiology but new to my clinic, welcome again. I still guide you through the process, as every kinesiologist has different skills, approaches, and energies, and we must take the time to connect and understand how best to work together.

  • Working With Me - You’ll be actively involved throughout your entire session.

One of the unique aspects of kinesiology is its focus on the emotional layers beneath physical symptoms. It’s often unprocessed emotions that keep us locked into repetitive patterns, self-sabotaging behaviours, a dysregulated nervous system, and even persistent postural tension.

  • My approach is grounded in a strong background in sports science, with a foundation in sports, movement, childhood development, and learning. Alongside completing a Diploma of Applied Kinesiology, I have a solid understanding of the body and its systems. This knowledge forms the foundation of my practice. The frequency and energetic tools I use are layered on top of this structure to support profound, lasting change.

  • Sessions now combine a range of modalities, all working together to support your wellbeing. What makes kinesiology my favourite approach is that it helps identify exactly which modality you need in the moment to create the most significant, most beneficial, and most lasting change.

  • Many clients report having seen multiple practitioners before. The truth is, there are so many wonderful healing methods available—but sometimes you only need one targeted approach to shift your alignment, rebalance your biochemistry, or release an emotional pattern. When you find that key, everything can start to fall back into place. Kinesiology is all about getting to the root cause.

  • In any one session, you can expect a tailored combination of modalities designed to meet your unique needs. This may include physical muscle release and realignment, neuro-lymphatic drainage, craniosacral realignment, TMJ (jaw) release, postural stress release, diaphragm reset, breathwork, traditional Chinese herbs, nutritional guidance, supplement assessment, and detoxification support.

  • We may also explore learning assessments, Brain Gym, speech and retained reflex integration, as well as homeopathic and frequency essences. Emotional and energetic techniques such as Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), the Emotion Code and Body Code, LEAP Kinesiology, chakra balancing, Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT), Thought Field Therapy, Timeline Therapy, brain formatting, sound and colour therapy, and flower essences may also be incorporated.

  • All of these approaches come together in a comprehensive session to help you release stress, restore balance, and address the root causes of your experiences. It might sound like a lot, but most of the time it simply comes down to me holding a few points while we have a giggle, shed a few tears, and then giggle again.

Clinical Kinesiology

Talking all things Kinesiology

Kinesiology offers a truly individualised path to wellness.

Alignment & Flow over Force

It’s a gentle, client-centred approach that works with the whole person—body, mind, and energy system. Clinical kinesiology combines principles from Traditional Chinese Medicine, structural alignment, and the early foundations of chiropractic care. Initially developed to explore the link between muscle movement and electrical pathways in the body, kinesiology has since evolved into a sophisticated modality that addresses health and well-being through the integration of the Meridian System's energy, Meridian Emotions, and Physical Alignment.

At its core, kinesiology works in partnership with the body’s innate intelligence. It views each person not only as a physical being but as an interconnected system of biochemical signals, emotional patterns, energetic rhythms, and spiritual awareness. Proper balance means supporting all of these layers—physical, biochemical, emotional, energetic, and spiritual.

Rather than diagnosing conditions or prescribing treatment plans, a clinical kinesiologist uses gentle muscle testing as a form of biofeedback. This allows us to identify where stress is being stored, how the body is compensating, and what’s needed to bring it back into alignment.

Each session becomes a process of gentle inquiry and recalibration. We track patterns, explore emotional triggers, and clear stress from the nervous system—all guided by what your body is ready to reveal.

The changes that unfold can be subtle at first—a lightness in the chest, deeper sleep, fewer headaches. But over time, clients commonly report feeling clearer in their thinking, more emotionally balanced, and more at ease in their bodies. Many also notice shifts in their relationships, decision-making, and resilience to daily stress.

An example of these shifts can be reflected through Traditional Chinese Medicine, where many of these challenges reflect an imbalance of the Wood Element. The Liver, associated with the Wood Element, is seen as the body’s internal compass. It governs direction, decision-making, and the ability to grow and adapt. When Wood energy is stuck or depleted, frustration builds, clarity fades, and we begin to push and force our way through life, often ignoring the body’s deeper signals. It can also reflect how we store toxins and the ease or lack thereof in shifting fat stores.

But when alignment is restored, the body feels safe, seen, and supported—it knows how to heal, and our external environment will start to reflect this.

Kinesiology doesn’t force change. It invites it.
It’s not about quick fixes—it’s about sustainable, embodied transformation.

Kinesiology For Noise Overwhelm

When we’re overwhelmed and our sensitivity to noise ramps up—like there’s just too much happening in our physical environment—our neck often protects us by limiting movement.
Smart, right?

Kinesiology For Neck Tension

Muscling through the day on momentum from fear, stress, and exhaustion, the body adopts protective postures—tense, retracted, and braced. When the head drops forward, it compresses the vagus nerve, disrupting digestion and sending signals of survival.
