Top Herbs for ADHD Support

Looking for more focus, emotional balance, and calm in the chaos? These 10 herbs are here to support your nervous system, help regulate mood, improve sleep, and bring a little more clarity into your day. Rooted in Western herbalism, Ayurveda, and Traditional Chinese Medicine, each one has its own superpower to nourish, calm, or energise you—depending on what your body’s asking for.

A Holistic Hint

You can blend these into teas, tinctures, or powders. Some supplement blends group a few together, which can be a great starting point. But I always say—it’s empowering to know why you're using each one, and to tune in to what your unique body needs.

For my Herbs, I turn to Happy Herb because they always Pass the Muscle test well. I also really enjoyed the Hemp Oil from Artaban, and they have 2 oils (Daytime and Nighttime) that have a lot of the good stuff in them.

Happy Herb

You can purchase these herbs separately—Rhodiola Rosea, Brahmi, Ashwagandha, Lemon Balm, Passiflora (Passionflower), Skullcap, and Saffron—as powders, loose-leaf teas, or tinctures. I personally reach for the ticture, it requires less effort to consume, dosing is easy to regulate and has a good shelf life.

Artaban Hemp Oil

 Night-time Favourite:
The Nighty Night blend is hands-down one of my favourites for sleep. It features:

  • Artaban’s Certified Biodynamic Organic full-spectrum, solvent-free Hemp (25% High Potency Oil)

  • Calming botanicals: Skullcap, Lemon Balm, Passionflower, Rose Petals, Valerian Root, Hops, Chamomile, Lavender. And just a touch of Organic Raw Honey

Daytime Performance Boost:
For focus, stamina and clarity, I love this potent daytime blend crafted with:

  • 35% High Potency Hemp from Artaban’s full-spectrum extract

  • Plus power players like PEA, Organic Mistletoe, Ashwagandha, Damiana, Lion’s Mane, Cordyceps, Chaga Mushrooms, Shilajit, 99.99% C60 Carbon Fullerene, and Organic Rainforest Honey

My Personal Take

I’ve tried them all individually so I could feel how they work in my system. I’d love to say “this one’s the magic fix” but the truth is, what worked for me might be different for you. Your energetic, emotional, and physical makeup is unique.

Feeling unsure where to start? Book in for a balance and I’ll help you pinpoint exactly what your system is asking for.

I’ve personally tried them all individually so I could feel the difference each one made in my body. I’d love to say precisely which worked best for me—but my energetic, emotional, and physical profile is unique (just like yours!).

If you’re feeling unsure or overwhelmed, book in for a balance and I’ll help you pinpoint exactly what your system is asking for.
Below I’ve included links to a few I purchased and recommend. Some formulas blend multiple herbs for ease—but knowing the why, when, and what for behind each herb gives you greater choice and clarity in supporting yourself or your child.

Let me know if you'd like this grouped by symptoms, converted into a printable handout or infographic, or linked to recommended Australian suppliers.
